James Pollmann is new to the Mandskor this last year.
He joined at the urging of Dell Rapids singers, Bob Stenberg,
John Rasmusson and Wayne Mitchell. The
4 make the trip to rehearsal together most Monday nights.
Both Jim and his wife had careers in teaching.
Now widowed, Jim taught vocational ag.
He has also been an ag loan officer and insurance adjustor.
Three of his four children are in education; the fourth is a
systems engineer. After
graduating from Bridgewater High School, Jim went on to SDSU, where he
received his masters in education. |

He enjoys hunting, fishing, woodcutting, gardening and watching his
grandkids play ball. He
works part time doing insulating, and for the SD Crop Improvement Assoc.
Seed Inspection. He drives
for a young man who is sight impaired, is active in the choir and
pastoral search committee at Dell Rapids Lutheran Church
and still finds time for coffee with the boys in Baltic and Dell
Rapids. |
