Dr. Ron Beck has been a member of the Mandskor baritone section for 20 years. A Sioux Falls native, he graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls and the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He has practiced dentistry in the US Army Dental Corps at Ft. Lewis, WA, Lennox, SD, and Dell Rapids, SD, retiring in 2001. His first wife Gloria succumbed to cancer in 1998. They had 3 children, Thomas, Paul and Pamela. All are married and there are 7 grandchildren. Ron is remarried to Janell, also a dentist. Janell has two grown sons. She continues to practice dentistry and is very active with the Lions’ Club. |
| In retirement, Dr. Beck enjoys church activities, Lions Club, playing trombone in the Lennox Municipal and Sioux Falls New Horizon Bands and of course, the Mandskor, which he served as president for 4 years. | |
